Ron for Model Number WFMC1001UC/10 Hi, I have Bosch 100 Nexxt series washer where I think the motor has frozen up and finally died. It is incredibly hard to rotate the drum at all, either from the inside or by moving the belt from the back. If I do manage to move it an inch or two there is a very loud grinding noise. Slight burned smell as well from the back. Belt looks fine. I've replaced carbon brushes on this machine for many years (about once every 6 months) to keep it alive but I think at this point replacing motor would be the best next step since I can't get it to move? Is this new replacement motor brushless?
Answer Ron, Thanks for the question!!! The best thing to do is remove the belt and then see how the drum spins. If it spins freely you can then try turning the motor shaft. This should help determine the cause of the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 3, 2022
