Jim for Model Number Thermador CVS45RS The fan is stuck. We pressed the switch to to raise the induction fan but it only opened partially and the motor buzzed. We were able to manually pull the fan up.When lowering the same thing, we had to apply some presure to close it. Now we have it up and when we press to switch to lower it only buzzes and we are unable to move it in either direction. Do we need a new motor and have we messed up anyhing else by manually pushing and pulling on the unit to open/close it? Thank you for your help. Jim
Answer Hello Jim. You will need to replace the motor. If you forced and you heard something break, then most likely you broke something. If not, then it should be ok with just the motor. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 14, 2014
