George P. for Model Number bosch dishwasher shu53e06uc/14 I recently bought some of the side seals for this dishwasher the old ones were connected with brackets the new ones say to screw directly onto the dishwasher. The mounting brackets are all loose where do I re attach them? was reading it said there was a spot half way down on side of dishwasher do you have picture?
Answer George, The 00170664 mounting bracket kit is for securing the dishwasher to the cabinet either at the top or the bracket needs to be modified for a "side mount" installation. If we understand your question, the side trim strip(s) 00740617 are secured to the side of the tub flange / frame by clips 00186929 and then mounted to the frame with screws 00423896.
