Mike S. Do I need to cut a slot in the rubber seal in order to side mount the bracket? Otherwise, I do not see how the bracket can be installed on the side.
Answer Hello Mike, You can cut it if you want since this is not a water seal. This is only a decorative piece to prevent the side of the unit from being visible from the front.
