Bobby for Model Number shx46a05uc/38 The top mounting brackets are broken and the unit is loose. How do I remove the brackets to replace with new ones? Do I need to pull out thre washer? How do I do that?
Answer Hello Bobby, The brackets 00170664 can be installed on the sides of the unit by pulling it out only about 5 inches. You shouldn't have to disconnect anything to pull it out this small amount unless the electrical or water supply lines are too short. If the brackets on top didn't last long, you might want to put them on the sides. The same brackets can be installed either on the top or on the sides.
