Hello Michelle, This is a two man job. The unit will have to be pulled out from the wall as the control is mounted to the bottom rear of the unit. Discontinue the power supply to the unit to prevent personal injury. The bottom cover will have to be removed from the back and use a pair of needle nosed pliers to release the board from its' retaining clips which stand it off from the steel frame. Now, disconnect one wire and place it on the new control. Disconnect the next wire and place it on the new control. Continue one wire at a time until all of the wires are transferred to the new control. You may have to select certain wires to start with as the manufacturer didn't make the wires terribly long. Once this is complete, following the instructions with the new control as many of the controls have been modified for unit efficiency, replace the cover and if possible, before moving the unit again, test the unit to insure the initial issue has been resolved. If so, the unit can be moved back into position.
