Fix oven overheating or E115 error code with this wall oven control board. Regulates temperature and cooking modes. Moderate difficulty, 2-3 hour repair.
Replaced the main control board on a Thermador oven model POD301J/01 after we got an E115 error and the top broiler would come on no matter what setting you put it on and wouldn't turn off and would overheat. Took me about 30 mins total to replace after taking pics to make sure everything went back as it was. So far so good and it's working again! Read more

Not having any local Thermador support I took the advise from KC on the repair forum. The repair consisted of removing and replacing the control and relay board. The hardest part of the job was working behind the stove while it was pulled from the wall. ( didn't want to scratch my floor ). Ordered an new Control board here. Killed gas and power supply. Pulled oven. Opened rear bottom panel. Labeled all wires to control board with “new” locations using electrical tape. Included instructions were great! Pulled all cables. Removed old and reinstalled new control board. Attached all wires to new locations. Tested... Success! Better than ever. Board replacement time - 3 hours total. Time to clean oven back to new... 3 days. Saved us $2k for a service repair or $7k to replace the unit.... Read more
