Jenny for Model Number PRSE484GG Will potentiometer (422748) work with the original simmer control from PRSE484GG? Tom from aloha appliance repair come to fix my range. When he replaced the potentiometer (4227748) all 4 burners seems to function correctly. He tried to replace the old Simmer control to a newer version (422882) but it did not work (need to be repaired). So now my stove has a newer potentiometer (422748) with the old version simmer control from PRSE484GG. The stove seem to function normal. Do I need to worry about long-term compatibility issue?
Answer Hello Jenny. No, it should work fine in the unit. If there was an issue, it would not have worked with the old controller. Thanks. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 27, 2017
