Peter for Model Number SGCS365RS I have a SGCS365R Serial Number 81090310NB and have determined that one of my potentiometers have gone bad such that one of my simmer burners does not work. To test, I swapped them and the problem moved with the swap. In my parts diagram, I see part number 20-02-419 and am confused by the discussion in other questions about which part can be used to replace it because it seems like the older part is avaialble but the newer one is not. At first, I thought I should get 00189819 (which is discontinued) but in other places I see part number 00422748. Which is the right part for me? Do I need any other parts? I notice there is a kit 497234 that includes 2 of 422748 and 1 of 422882. Do I need to replace these items as a set?
Answer Peter, the potentiometer 00189819 is what would be recommended by the manufacturer for your model and serial number. Unfortunately, it is discontinued and no longer available. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 24, 2019
