Bill for Model Number Thermador GPS 366 When I try the two simmer knobs I get no sign of ignition, nor do I smell gas at either one. If I turn on another burner all ignitors start sparking, even the simmer burners, but still no gas smell. I am guessing this is two different issues. Any suggestions, thank you
Answer Bill, with the power cord unplugged, it is recommended that the potentiometers 00422748 are tested for continuity from terminal 1 to terminal 5 while the switch is in the on position. If the switches have continuity, the failure would most likely be in the simmer controller 00422882. Unfortunately, if the simmer controller is found to be the cause, it has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More...
