Joe Bassano for Model Number SHE4AM16UC/03 So this thing doesn't have an error, it just leaks water like a hose is broke. I can see it is comeing from a cut away between the pump and I believe the drain pump? Is that common? Possibly an Oring or somehting? Is there a viedo on removing the drain pump
Answer Joe, Since the drain pump mounts to the sump assembly itself, it's not likely the drain pump is the issue, based on your description. There is a seal on the drain pump, as well as a seal in the body of the pump, around the motor drive shaft, that may have failed. Removal of the drain pump isn't too difficult. " To access pump, remove power and the lower kickplate cover and sound deadening material. Disconnect inlet hose and pump harness. To remove pump, (1) pull latch (on circular collar), (2) rotate pump clockwise (cw) ~ 1/8 turn and (3) pull out pump. To install new pump, insert @ 2:00 position & rotate counterclockwise (ccw)." AppliancePartsPros.com doesn't have a drain pump replacement video in our library, Sorry. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 24, 2017
