Jeffrey G Andover , CT June 09, 2016 Dishwasher wasn't drianing completely pump was loud e24/e25 alarms The E24 was a failure to drain alarm and the E25 was triggered by me trying to run a cycle without the pump cover attached inside the unit (Bosch Ascenta). I replaced the pump (ordered Friday morning arrived Saturday afternoon with standard shipping...WOW) which consisted of removing the kickplate, disconnecting the electrical connector and rotating the pump body counter clockwise. Installed new pump in the reverse order and tested. Still had alarm but new pump was much quieter. I pulled unit out, removed drain hose and forced air (using my mouth...lol, I'm full of hot air) through the drain line. By pushing all of the water through the line and ensuring the line was not blocked I ran the cycle three more times without alarm. I'm assuming the alarm was because the drain line was blocked, and the motor was loud because it had been fighting against a stopped up/slow line for some time. All seems good now. These pumps are stupid easy to change. 5 minutes total. Part was perfect fit and arrived FAST. Good price and OEM product. Thanks APPros. Daniel H Newark , OH October 17, 2015 Appliance: Model SHE3AR72UC/12 Bosch dishwasher making noise when draining My Bosch dish washer started to make vibration like noise when draining. I ordered a new drain pump for appliance parts pros. I took off the door skin, then the lower panel. I needed a torx screw driver for the door. It was a bit tricky to get the door off but not impossible. The lower sides door skin had some plastic clips. The lower panel was just a phillips driver. Once the door skin and lower panel were off, I pulled back the sound proofing material behind the lower panel. The pump was right there. You don't need any tools to remove it. Make sure to note the pump's orientation as you will need to get the new one in there the same way. Pro tip, take a photo with your phone. Just take wires out of the built in clip on the pump. Twist the pump and it will release. Remove the clip with the wires. Be gentle. Install in reverse order. I ran one fill cycle, let it run for a bit, then cancelled the cycle and watched it drain to make sure that the seal was good. Overall this was a cheap easy fix. I was very happy that I could tackle it at home by myself. Read More... 41 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
Bob F Theodosia , MO April 01, 2022 Bosch dishwasher would not stay on and water remained in bottom of washer Ordered and replaced sump pump, backflow preventer valve and turbidity sensor on Bosch dishwasher. The latter two parts were recommended when ordering the sump pump and did need replacing. The videos showing how to remove and replace each part are great. The project went well and the dishwasher is fixed for less than 1/4 of what it would cost to get a repairman out here. In all fairness we do live in a remote location and do not have any local appliance repairmen. This is the third project I have completed using Appliance Parts Pros. Fixed Bosch dishwasher, Samsung clothes dryer, and Samsung fridge in the past year or so. All are around 8 years old. I started more DIY after being charged a ridiculous sum (over $400) by a major chain for a refrigerator sensor replacement that lasted less than 30 days. They charged $80 for the incorrect part. I bought the correct one from Appliance Parts Pros for around $30. I have been retired for some time and am able and willing to pay for competent help but looks like I will have to DIY more than I planned. I rather enjoy it sometimes. I wrote several emails to family and friends after this latest repair highly recommending Appliance Parts Pros.
