Lys for Model Number HDS255C/01 Oven in bake mode does not reach required temperature. Cycles between preheat and bake every 4 seconds. Heating elements check out. Not sure of oven sensor. Can not pull out sensor through oven cavity. On back of stove the connection to the sensor seems to be a ceramic round block. Resistance between the two wires on ceramic block is approx 40 ohms. This would seem to be too low. How do I remove sensor and replace it.
Answer Lys, when following the wire of the sensor from the cabin back, there should be a red connector end of the wire. This is where the sensor would be disconnected in order to replace the sensor. 40 ohms is certainly too low for this sensor as it should be over 1000 ohms at room temperature. Read More...
