Vernon for Model Number PRDS486GDUS My left 2 "lo-simmer" burners have quite working. Since the part 00497234 has been discontinued, is it possible to convert those 2 burners into the same as the other 4 (not having lo-simmer setting)?
Answer Vernon, we would not be able to recommend converting the burners over to match up to the other four. As the part that is needed is responsible for opening the gas solenoids, converting the burners would not make a difference because the gas solenoids would not open without the control kit.
