Df for Model Number RDSS30 For my Thermador RDSS30, the front left XL burner had been acting funny for a few years (gas would shut off when dial was turned between medium and medium high, but worked when on high/low/xl), and then quit working all together. Now the gas does not flow at all to that burner. All other burners work fine. It looks like the potentiometers are available for this model, but the simmer control for this model is no longer available. I opened it up and tested it by swapped the electronics with the back burner (which works fine), and neither worked in that case. Not sure if this is conclusive evidence either way, but want to know if I can just swap out the front potentiometer or if I need to hunt down an expensive simmer control unit as well.
Answer Hello DF, likely the potentiometer is faulty however the manufacturer has subbed the part to a kit, 00497235, which includes the simmer control but the kit has been discontinued and is no longer available.i Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, December 8, 2020
