Ian Hi again team After looking carefully at the plastic cogs I noticed on one of them there's a large tooth and on the reciprocal cog there's a space or gap so they can fit together. If I align both cogs as mentioned, they can continually turn without stopping at all. Alternatively I can also place the cogs together so that the large tooth on one cog and gap on the other are not aligned. This way the cogs can only turn approx 180 degree and then are stopped by the large tooth. I just didn't want to assemble the dishwasher and find out it was wrong. If my first idea is correct, what is the reason for having the large tooth etc. The cogs would continue to turn without the large tooth in any case. I have 2 pics but unable to attach on this question form. Thanks Ian
