Lupe G. My Thermador down draft will not go down. It is stuck in the up position. I noticed that there was a electrical spark when tried to press the button to go down. Since then the button does not work. The fan works fine when used but it still does not go down.

You could have a failed winding in the motor, an issue with the harness, a bad relay on the board, or one of the switches could have an issue.
