Jo for Model Number cvs30rs thermador downdraft Our downdraft started going up and down on its own yesterday (I had left it in up position, but fan not running while I was cooking). It also started smelling electrical. The vent fits my countertop and corresponding Jennair glass cooktop. Do you think the switch o up/down limiter could have malfunctioned? We had a service call to the cooktop last week, but it seems to be working fine. Odd coincidence that the downdraft would malfunction a week later. Any recommendations on possible repair possibilities versus replacement on a 14-year old appliance?
