Hello Jerry, Since the only electrical circuitry shared between the surface burners and the bake compartment is from the terminal block back to the breaker box, I would start at the receptacle, power cord, and terminal block in search of this issue. If the problem is at the terminal block, the wires from the loose connection will be discolored and burned looking. If the issue is in the wall receptacle, there will be at least one burned spot on one of the prongs on the power cord. If no problem is located there, check the connections to the breaker in the breaker box.
