Drew for Model Number 79092321300 My bake element does not heat up. Only 110v are going to the element. I traced the faulty wire back to the control board. Is it possible I need to replace the thermostat ?
Answer Hi Drew. On the back of the control are the bake / broil relay. You should get 120vac out of the bake terminal as the heating is commanded. If not then replace the control part # 316207522. If you do then look at the L-2 at the terminal block and verify it is tight (as they all should be). The element should ohm out 28-38 ohms closed, not shorted or open. Part # 316202200. Thank You.
