Kevin M for Model Number Frigidaire CFEB786JGB2 My oven is taking 1.5hr+ to preheat. Both the broil and bake elements heat up, but do not heat as much as they should. I reset the thermal circuit breaker, and it did not fix it. When I have it set to bake and I'm waiting for it to preheat, I can hear it clicking about every 20-30 seconds... Please help
Answer Kevin, You will want to check the oven sensor on the unit to make sure that it is within specs. The sensor should have a resistance reading of 1090 ohms. If it is out of tolerance then you will want to replace the sensor. If the sensor checks ok then most likely the control board is faulty. Read More...
