Ric for Model Number PLES399ECE The oven broiler was not working but the bottom element was heating ok. After the oven preheated to 400 I placed some cookies in to bake and then the oven went completely out with no lights on the control board at all. I turned the breaker off and on but still nothing?
Answer Ric, If you pull the unit out there should be 2 thermostats on the back. Check both thermostats for continuity. If there is no continuity and they have a red button then push the button. It sounds like the issue may be a faulty control board that has failed. If the control board has failed it will cause the unit to shut off completely. Read More...
