Mickie for Model Number PLES389ECD I had a dual element control (31641801)that the thread broke on so it was loose, and when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with it - pushed it down to where it made contact with the thermostat switch (316441801) right under it. That seemed to have shorted out my clock/timer board. Burners worked but nothing on the clock/timer oven control. I've replaced the two parts mentioned by number - is there a fuse that I can check that may have been blown when the two made contact?
Answer Mickie, On the back of the unit there will be a thermal cutoff that you will want to check to make sure that it is not tripped.
