Chris for Model Number CPLES399EC2 The oven and broiler would not turn on and the display showed F13 The manual said make sure the temperature sensor is clean, so I unscrewed it to get it closer to the oven door where I could give it a good cleaning. That cleared the error, so I ran an 3 hour self clean to be sure it didn’t get dirty from any remaining residue in the oven. All was fine for a day or two of oven and broiler use. Then the F13 came back. I turned off the breaker for 10 minutes, that didn’t work. So I took the sensor out again and as it was clean, I just screwed it right back in. Turned the breaker back on and it worked again for another couple of uses. Now it won’t work more than once after each time I unscrew and re-screw temp sensor. As others here have had an F13 error and replaced control board, I was wondering if this is the same, or a temperature sensor issue?
Answer Chris, Start by removing the sensor and checking all the connections and wiring back to the board. Use a multimeter and check the sensor. If all that is good then it will likely be the board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 5, 2024
