Tom for Model Number 79099129405 I bought a clock timer board my old one was burnt bad (I had nothing, no power any were). Ok ordered a new one order number 5418321. installed and plugged in the stove had PF across the board. I touched the off button on one burner and all but the main PF (next to the timer ) went off. None off the touch buttons work all you see is the time and PF I hit clear stop nothing. Am I up a creek without a paddle.
Answer Tom, You will want to check the ribbon harness that goes from the membrane switch to the control board and make sure that they have a good firm connection. Check to make sure that that is no corrosion on the connections. If this checks ok then it sounds like the issue would be that the membrane switch has also failed. Read More...
