Pera for Model Number GLGF386DCB I just bought a used stove but the clock (oven control) doesn't work. When the stove is connected to the power the clock appears as an incomplete zero and does not show any letter that indicates an error. Another thing is that the preheat light is on (light is very bright) and the oven and door lock indicator lights seem like they are on but the light is too dim to determine if on or off. Speed bake lens is also missing. What could be the problem? Can you help or give me advice on what the problem might be or instuctions on trouble shooting to determine what the problem is? Thank You.
Answer Hello Pera. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the clock 316557206 is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. If there is power coming to it, and the display is not working properly, and setting are being set with out selecting them, replace the clock in the unit. Read More...
