Philip for Model Number FDB1050RES2 I have tried all cycles ... went to rinse only because it is shortest cycle, the washer fills runs wash pump then tries to drain you can see water moving in clear drain line. So I turned breaker off for 15 mins and then it cycles fine and drains. After that you try to run cycle again it fills then makes a humming noise around wash pump. Is the controller the problem?
Answer Hello Philip. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the motor assembly 154859101 may be bad and will need to be replaced. If the motor is just humming and is not running, it does not sound like a control issue, it sounds like a motor issue. Make sure nothing is inside the sum assembly blocking the motor on the unit.
