Stuart Sealed system, what does this mean? I too have a system that is constantly running, vacuumed the system down and recharged; system went down to 9 degrees but no further..... Just for testing purposes the unit wa set to -9 or as low as it would go. Originally the unit would not go below 45 degrees and compressor would constantly run and fan running. So how does a sealed system become involved?
Answer Stuart, The sealed system on a unit would be all the components that the refrigerant runs through, compressor, evaporator, condenser, heater exchanger, yoder loop and filter drier. It sounds like you may have a sealed system issue and would need to contact an authorized sealed system service technician to repair the unit. Read More...
