Jeff Taylor for Model Number FFHS2611LBLA Everything checks out good at the evaporator. But unit will not go into defrost. Is there a way to send in manual defrost? I tried few ways I seen on line but did not work. I had my amp probe on heating element. Is it electrical control board that sends in into defrost? Thanks
Answer Jeff, To put this unit into a manual defrost you would hit the light switch 5 or 6 times in rapid succession. Test the defrost heater and defrost bimetal to make sure that they are good.
