Ray I was cleaning my Frigidaire gas range (Model # DGGF3054KFE) and had to move the Oven Igniter. In moving it, the Oven Igniter touched the oven metal and I heard a sparking sound. Now the oven is completely dead. None the burners will turn on (top or oven). None of the lights go on, not even the clock. The control panel is completely inoperative. What may be wrong? Could it be the EOC?
Answer Hello Ray. Test and make sure the power is coming to the unit. If there is power there, and the clock does not work, you will need to replace the clock assembly on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
