Lisa for Model Number FEF388CJBA My heating element just lost the outer ring of heat and only inner ring is still heating. I noticed another questioneer asking about just replacing element or checking a "switch" Can you explain what switch I should be testing before I order the new element? Thanks
Answer Hello Lisa. You will test the switch you use to turn on the dual element. If there is power to the switch, but not to the outer ring, the switch is bad. If there is power to the outer ring, but it does not work, the element is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
