Ken for Model Number fef387wjcb I just replaced this element and it burns for just a second or two, the thermostat turns it off for a second or two, and then back on for a second oft two. this cycle keeps repeating unless I run the burner to "high". the same thing is happening to all 4 burners. I did not notice it before I replaced the burner, but did not pay any attention. Is this normal or do I have another problem?
Answer Ken, It is normal for the element to cycle on and off. The cycling will happen so that the unit does not overheat and cause a thermal breakage. At times even on high the unit will cycle off as well. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 17, 2014
