Kieran for Model Number 587.15193400 I just had to replace a bad heating element bolt on my dishwasher and now I'm noticing that the water does not get as hot as it used to. The heating element is getting hot(I felt it and can't keep my finger on it for more than a second), but I don't think it's as hot as it should be since I don't get a blast of steam when I open it up mid cycle. Is this a bad heating element or is there something else I should be looking at?
Answer Hello Kieran. You will need to test the heater 154665201 and the thermostat 154290204 for continuity. They should read closed. If both are good in the unit, and the wiring is good, you will need to replace the control module 154568301. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
