Ken M I just purchased the front panel for a Frigdaire Side-in Electric Range Model Number PLES389DCD, Part Number AP358271 from AppliancePartsPros. I can not figure out how to get the "strap wires" that connect the panel into the circuit board back into the recepticles. They won't push in so there must be a way to spring the recepticle open enough to get the strap wire back in. Is there a special tool? How do I get the strap (ribbon wire) back in?
Answer Hello Ken, In order to get the ribbon connectors into place there are clips on the either side of the control connectors that you push in and lift.
