Dawn for Model Number FFHS2311LW6 Just replaced my PureSource WF3CB with a PureSource ULTRAWF as per appliance manual. Ran the 2-3 gallons water through the filter got the usual dark water from new filter before running clear. Water dispenser is working but ice maker is not. If the water filter was clogged would we still get in door water? Trying to determine if issue is in filter or water line to ice maker or possibly the valve.
Answer Dawn, You will want to check to make sure that the icemaker fill tube is not frozen. This is the most common reason for the issue of no water to the icemaker.
