Lindsay January 29, 2022 for Model Number WF3CB I just purchased this home and went to change the filter as I noticed the previous owner had written that it was installed in 2019. I was able to push and remove the old filter easily. I opened the new and read the instructions and noticed the old one did not have a key and the new one did. That was because the key was still inside the housing. How do I remove this?

Purchase 4 more replacement filters and we notice water everyday on the floor! Finally traced it to the filter it was dripping from the filter. Ross December 25, 2020 for Model Number FFSC2323LS6 My water dispenser works, But it only produces 1 quart per minute. The manual says it should dispense half a gallon or 2 quarts in one minute. I replaced the water filter and water came out much faster. But this water filter is only one month old and it’s back to being slow. It’s still produces lots of ice so I know the water line isn’t frozen. Any tips?
1 Answer Ross, There are different things that can cause slower water flow. Just because the unit is making ice properly does not mean that the filter is not clogged, or that there is a possible filter head that is causing the issue to occur. The icemaker uses less water than the dispenser does and does not need as high of a rate of flow. Depending on the hardness of water you may have in your home, it could cause the filter to get clogged more readily. If you put a new filter in place and the water flows properly then this would be the most likely issue is that minerals in the water are clogged the filter. Read More...
