David for Model Number fsg748gfs0, fwt449gfs0 This is a stacked washer/dryer: 1) The washer sounds more and more noisy as it spins out the water from the closes. What is wrong? Which parts to replace? 2)The dryer isn't turning off using the regular timed dry cycle and the automatic cycle (where it senses the dryness of the clothes) doesn't seem to work either. What to do?
Answer Hello David, For the noise issue with the washer you will want to make sure that the pump 131268401 is clean and does not have anything in it causing noise. If the pump checks ok then you would have a bad bearing 131525500 on the washer. The dryer issue sounds like a timer failure 131710100. Read More...
