Debbie for Model Number 790-92683301 I have a Kenmore 790-92683301. The left front burner serves as a burner and a simmer. When I turn on the burner it does not heat up but when I press the simmer button it heats up. Is this the switch and if so which one do I need. Thank you.
Answer Debbie, You will want to check the push button as it may be faulty. Also check the burner switch for 240 vac coming off the burner switch at the h1 and h2 terminals.
