Frigidaire 316436000 Small Surface Element Switch OEM Part

Replaced all four element switches. Switches arrived within two days of ordering. That's about normal for AppliancePartsPros. They were the correct ones; not generic, and fit the original control knobs perfectly. This kind of service is what I'm used to from ApplicanePartsPros.

I had to shut the breaker off first. I was looking on the Parts Pro site and it looked as though other people were having my exact problem. I ordered two surface switches but note: they look the same but go by the wattage numbers on the side of the switches. Small burner is 1250-1500w verses large burner 2100-2600.You will see by the video they are easy to change. The new switches are larger and the connections will be in different locations. Unscrew the front screws to move the ole switch with wires still attached. Install new switch then remove one wire off at a time

I received the parts two days later and installed them. My stove is working like new. I saved a considerable amount than I would have paid at my local appliance parts store.

Isolated the issue to the switch by swapping the heating elements, then identified the model number using the app on appliancepartpro site (very essential part) then ordered the part which was here in about 2 days, replacing it was a walk in the park.

The repair was a success. The switch and came looked different from the original. I called Appliance Parts Pro, they lady on the phone said that Frigidaire changed the switch and how to wire it up correctly. Problem solved. It all works as it should.
