Jeffrey for Model Number FEF355CFSD I was cleaning oven, did not unplug, pulled lower heating element out, saw sparks. Now the stove top and the oven will not heat up. The appliance is still getting power, the clock works. And help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Jeff
Answer Jeffrey, as the bake and broil elements are directly connected to the L2 side of wiring, the spark could have caused the breaker to trip while the L1 side could still be providing voltage. The terminal block can be tested from L1 to L2 (red and black wires) for 240VAC. If there is not 240VAC, then there is a voltage supply issue. Read More...
