Miles for Model Number sears Kenmore Range 790.9611 Part No 316021500 I need to know which color wires go to which clips. The new part is slightly different in configuration from the old part.
Answer Miles, the terminals may be reconfigured, but the wires still attach to the same terminals as on the original switch. Terminal L1 will have the Black wire(common to all the switches) attached to it. Terminal L2 will have the Red wire(common to all the switches) attached to it. The H1 terminal will have an orange wire going to the element attached to it. The H2 terminal will have the other orange wire to the element attached to it, and the P terminal will have the purple wire to the indicator light attached to it. Thanks, Read More...
