George for Model Number Frigidaire FEF355ASJ My top left Red indicator Lamp stays on, when both left elements Switches are in the off position, Both left and right elements work OK. I recently had a short in the back area close to the left switches, How can I check the switches to see if they got damaged?
Answer Hello George. You will test for power coming from the "P" terminals of the switch when the switch is off. Then replace the one that is sending power to the light. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
