Jay K. for Model Number LGEF3045KFE Our Frigidaire model: LGEF3045KFE oven does not get hot. When it is set to 350°, it warms up forever but never gets to the desired temperature. Is this a sensor, thermostat, switch or element problem? Please let me know so I can get this fixed so that my "honey-do" list can have this taken off. Thanks
Answer Hello Jay, If the unit is operating properly on broil, the issue will be the bake relay on the control, or the element is burned out and shorted to ground. It is more possible for the control to be at fault. If the broil is not operating properly either, you should flip the breaker off and back on since one side of the breaker tripped will be trying to heat the 240Vac element with only 120Vac. There could also be a connection issue with the power supply at the junction box, (wire nuts), wall outlet, or terminal block, (where the cord connects to the appliance). Read More...
