Mark for Model Number PFSS6PKWASS Food compartment not cooling to set temp. I have the fresh food temp set to 36-degress, but the cooling range is 36-44. 44 seems too warm (my other refrigerators range between 34-38). Fan is blowing, coils are not frozen over. Freezer works perfectly (set-point is 0 and range is -4 to 2). Is this a problem with the temp sensor or within expected range?
Answer Mark, Thanks for the question!!! You would need to test your thermistor in the fridge to see if it is ok, see chart below. If the thermistor is good, it would most likely be the control board. @ 0 F…………...42.5k Ohms @32 F…………..16.3k Ohms @37 F…………..14K Ohms @41 F…………...12.7k Ohms @50 F…………...10k Ohms @77 F…………...5K Ohms Read More...
