Haresh S for Model Number JTP2080F7BB Good Day, I have a JTP20BF7BB oven. Recently it stopped working and was displaying an F7 error (function error code). A technician removed the entire front part and said it needed replacing. The dilemma I have now is that I see the entire front panel is sold in 2 separate parts: Control Panel ASM (p/n WB36T10550) and Oven Control (p/n AP3205919). Do you have any advice which part may be wiser to purchase first as I would not want to buy either part unnecessarily. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Answer Hello Haresh, To test to see which part is bad do the following. Push clear off pad to clear the code. Disconnect the ribbon cable from the control and wait at least 32 seconds waiting to see if code reappears. If the code reappears then you need the clock WB27T10411. If the code does not reappear then you need the control panel WB36T10550. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 6, 2012
