R.J. for Model Number HTS18GBSARWW Freezer at 0 and fridge at 50. Replaced evaporator fan in freezer section and cold control in the fridge. Fan does not come on. If I advance the defrost timer I can get the compressor to turn on and off. But it does not seem to advance by itself. Can the timer prevent the fan from operating? There does not seem to be any icing of the coils of the freezer compartment. What activates the fan and what diagnostics should I be trying before I order more parts.
