Lori for Model Number DBXR463EDC1CC front load electric GE dryer Dryer squeaks loudly, when drying especially on a heavier load. I noticed the noise loudest near the top of the door. I also noted a lot of play front to back on the front drum support. I placed a small amount of vegetable oil into the front drum support, the squeak stopped, however I realized this is only short term. I need to replace the slides and the front drum support, can you tell me the exact part numbers for this electric dryer. DBXR463EDC1CC
Answer Hello Lori, The rear drum bearing kit part number is WE25M40. The inner white slides, (two of these), are WE03X37318. The two outer slides, green, (two of these), are WE03X37317. If the front drum bearing WE3M26, (the part the slides fit into), has been worn down, it will require replacement also to prevent premature failure of the other parts you are now replacing. While inside the unit, remove the idler pulley and clean the pulley arm where the pulley rides with a dry paper towel and if sticky, use a dab of rubbing alcohol to cut the residue from the softener sheets.
