Satyendra for Model Number Model # GDT530PSD0SS GE Dishwasher Hi. I had issue where the flooding sensor broke and we keep running the dishwasher. Finally I realized it and changed the flood sensor. After that the dishwasher started working fine but dishes will not dry and slightly wet on top (plates will dry). I figured that it's heating element and replaced that. It has not helped and I continue to have same issue. Checked to make sure that heating element is fine (multi-meter shows resistance ). Got hold of machine codes and ran test only for the heating element and it's cold. Reading here it seems that this could be control board ? Thank you very much already.
Answer Hello Satyendra. You need to check the thermostat under the unit. If it is bad, you will need to replace the drain pump kit WD49X23779. It comes with a new thermostat. If it is good, replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
