Tim for Model Number GDT530PSD2SS I have watched videos on how to replace heating elements in dishwashers and it seems pretty simple. However, it appears that his dw has a heating element that plugs into the rear of the dw rather than in the front as demonstrated on the videos. Does this mean that my dw needs to be pulled away from the counter in order to gain access to the plug assembly in the back. Which I guess would mean disconnecting water supply, electricity, etc.
Answer Hello Tim. Yes, you will need to uninstall it and lay it on its back to replace the element. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 1, 2016
