David for Model Number GDT655SMJ0ES dishwasher "goes out" intermittantly. have replaced the machine control board twice. has not solved the problem. have gone through all the diagnostic tests (error mode and service mode) in the manual. no failures. then randomly the dishwasher will not run; no LED lights, nothing. it has 120V power; the service LED is blinking 7x per 3 secs indicating CSM tripped. no evidence of any leaks. flipping the breaker has "fixed it" for now. this last time it sat unused for 3 weeks. for most of that i noted the service LED was blinking 1x per 3 secs which is ok. then at approx 3 weeks tried to start a load. nothing! flipped the breaker and got it working again. something (a gremlin?) is tripping the CSM. when it runs it runs a normal cycle fine. only one thing: the "CLEAN" LED does not light up anymore but the dishes are clean. any suggestions??
Answer David, Based on the information provided the "CSM" tripping is likely to be external to the board per the manufacturer. The potential cause of a "CSM" trip is water leaking onto a live component, a component malfunction, or a fault in the wiring harness. With all you have done I would check again for a leak anywhere and check for broken wires in the harness. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 8, 2022
